"MILITARY MISTRESS"/ALLEGED "BIGAMIST BRIDE"
AND NINE OF THE MEN SHE SEDUCED AND THEN ALLEGEDLY RIPPED OFF
ON "20/20," AIRING FRIDAY, JULY 8, 10 PM ET ON ABC
Plus: A Preview of Diane Sawyer's Exclusive Interview with Jaycee Dugard
"Heartless," "coldhearted," "the devil," "a domestic terrorist" all words used to describe Bobbi Ann Finley, the woman dubbed the "military mistress" and "the bigamist bride" for allegedly targeting more than a dozen military servicemen, breaking their hearts and draining most of their bank accounts. For nearly two decades, Finley criss-crossed the country, allegedly preying on military bases where servicemen say she lied to them from the start, claiming to be everything from a wounded veteran of the Iraq war, to the wealthy daughter of a decorated general.
"20/20" Co-Anchor Chris Cuomo sat down with Finley, the woman who described herself as "the most hated woman in America," but said she is not a conwoman. "20/20" also brought together nine of the men who say they fell prey to Finley, most who were left broken hearted and in financial ruin. Finley is also believed to have had at least nine children with almost as many men - fathers who say they were left in the dark. "20/20" airs on FRIDAY, JULY 8 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. (OAD: 9/24/11)
Also: "20/20" previews Diane Sawyer's highly-anticipated interview with Jaycee Dugard. Dugard was kidnapped at age 11 on her way to school by Phillip and Nancy Garrido, and held captive for the next 18 years during which time she was repeatedly abused and gave birth to two daughters. Phillip and Nancy Garrido have both recently been sentenced to life in prison. The exclusive one-on-one conversation will air during a two-hour "Primetime" special Sunday, July 10 (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET).
"20/20" is anchored by Elizabeth Vargas and Chris Cuomo. David Sloan is executive producer.
