BOBBY'S LONG-SHOT ATTEMPT TO SAVE A PATIENT
CREATES CONTROVERSY, ON ABC'S "COMBAT HOSPITAL"
"On the Brink"-- The relationship between the doctors and nurses is strained when Bobby makes a controversial decision to try to save a patient against all odds. Can the team put their conflict behind them, or is this the beginning of a widening rift between the doctors and nurses at the Role 3 hospital? "Combat Hospital" airs TUESDAY, AUGUST 9 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
"Combat Hospital" stars Elias Koteas as Colonel Marks, Michelle Borth as Canadian surgeon Dr. Rebecca Gordon, Luke Mably as neurosurgeon Dr. Simon Hill, Deborah Kara Unger as Australian Army psychiatrist Major Grace Pedersen, MD, Terry Chen as trauma team leader Captain Bobby Trang and Arnold Pinnock as Commander Will Royal, Chief of Nursing.
Guest starring are Tim Campbell as Captain Clark Herndon, Ted Neal as PFC Eric Ronson and John White as PFC Nick Marvers
"On the Brink" is directed Chris Menaul and written by Simon Block.
"Combat Hospital" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1 channel surround sound. A TV parental guideline will be assigned closer to airdate.
