This week "Primetime Nightline" takes a look at what it takes to raise a huge family� 20 and counting. The matriarch of this family, Kelly, has been pregnant every year for the past 22 years. Juju Chang and Cynthia McFadden take you inside the Bates clan on "My (Extra) Ordinary Family: Really Big Family," airing WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 24 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
They are not a church choir or a baseball or soccer team - they are the Bates Family. "Primetime Nightline" has gained unique access into the life of this (Extra) Ordinary Family -- Gil and Kelly and their 18 biological children, all 20 of whom reside cozily in their sprawling home outside of Knoxville, Tennessee. The Bates learn together, play together, pray together and sing together.
