"What's to Discuss, Old Friend" - With a gun at her side, Bree prepares to end it all now that her friends have abandoned her and her life continues to spiral further into despair; Gaby begins to suspect that Carlos may have had something to do with Detective Chuck Vance's murder; Susan makes up her mind to go to New York to become a true artist - with or without Mike; and an angry Tom cancels his plans to go to Paris with his girlfriend when Lynette confesses that she's an accomplice to murder and may soon be arrested, on "Desperate Housewives," SUNDAY, JANUARY 8 (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

"Desperate Housewives" stars Teri Hatcher as Susan Mayer, Felicity Huffman as Lynette Scavo, Marcia Cross as Bree Hodge, Eva Longoria as Gabrielle Solis, Vanessa Williams as Renee Perry, Ricardo Antonio Chavira as Carlos Solis, Doug Savant as Tom Scavo, Jonathan Cake as Det. Chuck Vance, Charles Mesure as Ben Faulkner and Madison de la Garza as Juanita Solis, with Brenda Strong as Mary Alice Young and James Denton as Mike Delfino.

Guest starring are Kathryn Joosten as Mrs. McCluskey, Joshua Logan Moore as Parker Scavo, Darcy Rose Byrnes as Penny Scavo, Daniella Baltodano as Celia Solis, Tuc Watkins as Bob Hunter, Michael Dempsey as Det. Murphy, Lee Meriwether as Doris, Robert Reinis as detective, Jeremy Rowley as nurse, Christine Clayburg as anchor woman and Eddie Driscoll as cab driver.

"What's To Discuss, Old Friend" was written by Wendy Mericle and directed by David Grossman.

"Desperate Housewives" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format with a 5.1 channel surround sound. A TV parental guideline will be assigned closer to the airdate.
