01/17/2012 (10:00PM - 11:00PM) (Tuesday) : ZEEK RECEIVES STARTLING NEWS FROM HIS DOCTOR; CROSBY FINDS A NEW RELATIONSHIP AND JULIA DOUBTS ZOE'S COMMITMENT-- Zeek (Craig T. Nelson) receives startling news from his doctor while Crosby (Dax Shepard) moves toward a new relationship. Amber (Mae Whitman) excels at her job, but becomes confused over her boss' actions; Adam (Peter Krause) and Kristina (Monica Potter) worry over the costs to send Haddie (Sarah Ramos) to the college of her choice, and Julia (Erika Christensen) grows concerned Zoe (guest star Rosa Salazar) is beginning to change her mind about giving up her baby for adoption.
Also starring Lauren Graham, Miles Heizer, Bonnie Bedelia, Sam Jaeger, Max Burkholder, Savannah Paige Rae and Tyree Brown.

DESCRIPTION:
(from NBC's press release, April 2013) NBC has announced the renewal of five key drama series for the 2013-14 season: "Revolution," "Chicago Fire," "Parenthood," "Grimm" and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit." All have been given 22-episode orders. "Parenthood," adapted from the 1989 feature film, examines the colorful Braverman family, and all its foibles and triumphs. The series is executive produced by Oscar winners Ron Howard and Brian Grazer ("A Beautiful Mind," "Frost/Nixon"), Emmy winner Jason Katims ("Friday Night Lights") and Lawrence Trilling ("Pushing Daisies"). The series is produced by Universal Television and Imagine Entertainment. "Parenthood" grew this season versus last by 8 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 2.8 rating from a 2.6) and also increased by 8 percent year-to-year in total viewers (7.1 million vs. 6.6 million). This season's last seven "Parenthood" telecasts beat both the ABC and CBS drama competition in the time period in 18-49. |
