"PRIMETIME: WHAT WOULD YOU DO?" GOES ON SPRING BREAK

John Qui´┐Żones and the "What Would You Do?" Cameras Visit Spring Break Hotspot South Padre Island, Texas, to See If College Kids on Break Will Step in or Back Away When They See a Situation That Cries Out for Action, Friday, April 20 on ABC

Bars, beaches and bikinis... "Primetime: What Would You Do?" hits the road to capture people's reactions to various scenarios during college Spring Break at hot spot South Padre Island in Texas.

Using hidden cameras, "What Would You Do?" establishes everyday scenarios and then captures people's reactions. Whether people are compelled to act or mind their own business, John Qui´┐Żones reports on their split-second and often surprising decision-making process. "Primetime: What Would You Do?" airs FRIDAY, APRIL 20 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET) on ABC.

Friday, April 20 scenarios include:

Watch My Ice Chest: A college student asks a group of unsuspecting beachgoers to watch his ice chest while he steps away, at which point another student helps himself to a few bottles from the cooler. Will the beachgoers stop the theft or will they join in on the "free" beverages?

Sloppy Spring Breaker: A college girl who has had too much to drink can't find her friend to take her home from a bar. What will bystanders do when a guy on the prowl steps in, clearly looking to take advantage of her?

Superficial Spring Breaker: Spring Break is all about the bikini. So what will happen when a college girl tries on bikinis at a local store, but she doesn't have the figure to fill it the way her boyfriend thinks it should and he tells her she looks terrible? Will the other customers stand up for her?

Queen B's: Will any bystanders at a bar step in when a young college girl is being peer-pressured by her friends to take shots and get wasted in order to fit in their group?

"Primetime: What Would You Do?" has won awards from the Chicago International Television Festival, and the Avon Foundation's 2006 Voice of Change Award for exposing "injustice and wrongdoing against women and bringing the message of domestic violence to the mainstream."

David Sloan is executive producer and Danielle Baum Rossen is the senior broadcast producer of "What Would You Do?"
