MOM THINKS SHE FOUND THE PERFECT DEAL
IN A NEW EPISODE OF "CODE: 9,"
FRIDAY, AUGUST 3 ON DISNEY CHANNEL
"Steal of a Deal" - Mom thinks she found a great deal on the perfect car, so the last thing she expects is for authorities to infer the car is stolen property. Little does she know, her family, with the help of a Hollywood special effects team, pulled a prank on her, in a new episode of "Code: 9," airing FRIDAY, AUGUST 3 (8:00-8:30 p.m. ET/PT) on Disney Channel.
"Code: 9" is a half-hour, unscripted comedy series where a hidden camera, a sense of humor and the help of Hollywood's top special effects artists and designers are all kids and their families need to pull off the ultimate good-natured prank on their unsuspecting mom or dad.
Wes Denning stars as the series host.
"Steal of a Deal" was directed by Mark Herwick.
"Code: 9" carries a TV-G parental guideline.

(from Disney XD's press release, October 2012) Disney XD "gives pranks" in November with the premiere of two hidden camera prank series, "Just Kidding" and "Code 9," and a month-long programming event, "Pranksgiving," that invites viewers to vote online at DisneyXD.com/Crash to determine which Disney XD stars will "get Crashed" by the wildly unpredictable puppet star of "Crash & Bernstein." "Pranksgiving" begins MONDAY, NOVEMBER 5 and "Just Kidding" and "Code 9" premiere MONDAY, NOVEMBER 19 (7:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., ET/PT, respectively). Wes Denning hosts the unscripted hidden camera comedy series "Code 9" (7:30 p.m., ET/PT) in which a sense of humor and the help of Hollywood's top special effects artists are all kids and their families need to pull off the ultimate good-natured prank on their unsuspecting mom or dad. The new series, which is also seen on Disney Channel, guest stars Los Angeles Kings hockey player Kevin Westgarth in its premiere episode. |
