DAD STEERS A BLIMP OFF COURSE
IN A NEW EPISODE OF "CODE: 9,"
FRIDAY, AUGUST 10 ON DISNEY CHANNEL
"Hockey Havoc" - Dad is chosen to fly the remote control blimp at the Valley Winter Sports League, but little does he know that mom and the kids, with the help of a Hollywood special effects team, have already set the blimp on a collision course, in a new episode of "Code: 9," airing FRIDAY, AUGUST 10 (9:00-9:30 p.m. ET/PT) on Disney Channel.
"Code: 9" is a half-hour, unscripted comedy series where a hidden camera, a sense of humor and the help of Hollywood's top special effects artists and designers are all kids and their families need to pull off the ultimate good-natured prank on their unsuspecting mom or dad.
Wes Denning stars as the series host. LA Kings hockey player Kevin Westgarth guest stars.
"Hockey Havoc" was directed by Mark Herwick.
"Code: 9" carries a TV-G parental guideline.

(from Disney XD's press release, October 2012) Disney XD "gives pranks" in November with the premiere of two hidden camera prank series, "Just Kidding" and "Code 9," and a month-long programming event, "Pranksgiving," that invites viewers to vote online at DisneyXD.com/Crash to determine which Disney XD stars will "get Crashed" by the wildly unpredictable puppet star of "Crash & Bernstein." "Pranksgiving" begins MONDAY, NOVEMBER 5 and "Just Kidding" and "Code 9" premiere MONDAY, NOVEMBER 19 (7:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., ET/PT, respectively). Wes Denning hosts the unscripted hidden camera comedy series "Code 9" (7:30 p.m., ET/PT) in which a sense of humor and the help of Hollywood's top special effects artists are all kids and their families need to pull off the ultimate good-natured prank on their unsuspecting mom or dad.
