"The Rules" - When a death threat aimed at a local priest leads Andy and Nick to a neighborhood drug lord, the officers realize that they're navigating a delicate war zone and that the priest may be hiding some surprising secrets of his own. Meanwhile, Gail and Traci pick up one of the drug runners - a young girl whose refusal to be an informant compels Traci to make a major decision about her career. Chris and Swarek clash over what it takes to make a good cop, and Dov's new relationship takes a dramatic and dangerous turn, on "Rookie Blue," THURSDAY, AUGUST 23 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

"Rookie Blue" stars Missy Peregrym as Andy McNally, Gregory Smith as Dov Epstein, Charlotte Sullivan as Gail Peck, Enuka Okuma as Traci Nash, Travis Milne as Chris Diaz, Peter Mooney as Nick Collins and Ben Bass as Sam Swarek. Also starring in the series is Eric Johnson as Detective Luke Callaghan, Melanie Nicholls-King as Noelle Williams, Matt Gordon as Oliver Shaw, Noam Jenkins as Detective Jerry Barber and Lyriq Bent as Frank Best.

Guest starring in "The Rules" is Benz Antoine as Father Jean-Pierre, Shamier Anderson as Curtis Payne, Stefani Kimber as Jordan Walker and Mouna Traore as Crystal Markes.

"The Rules" was written by Greg Nelson and directed by Gregory Smith.

"Rookie Blue" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound. This program carries a TV-14,L,V parental guideline.
