"New Plans" - Reba thinks her dream of reviving her music career is one step closer to becoming a reality when she finally meets Geoffrey's boss, Mr. Bata, in person. But when he informs her that the big break he's giving her is writing commercial jingles, Reba begins to worry that her chances of getting back into the music industry may be over. Meanwhile, Kim lets Reba know that she is concerned about Sage's future when he decides against applying to Stanford because he doesn't want to be away from girlfriend June and also wants to pursue a music career, on "Malibu Country," FRIDAY, MARCH 15 (8:31-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
"Malibu Country" stars Reba as Reba, Lily Tomlin as Lillie Mae, Sara Rue as Kim, Justin Prentice as Cash, Juliette Angelo as June and Jai Rodriguez as Geoffrey.
Guest starring are Hudson Thames as Sage, James Patrick Stuart as Mr. Bata, Walker Howard as Daniel and Jeff Rechner as spokesman.
"New Plans" was written by Nastaran Dibai and directed by Robbie Countryman.
"Malibu Country" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format with a 5.1 channel surround sound. A TV parental guideline will be assigned closer to the airdate.
