After a whirlwind trip to Las Vegas, the twenty aspiring restaurateurs arrive at their dorms and prepare for the grand reopening of HELL'S KITCHEN. Although Chef Ramsay has high expectations for the teams, the first dinner service gets off to a rocky start, and incomplete dishes are served to patrons. Furious at the lack of teamwork and focus, Chef Ramsay sends multiple contestants out of the kitchen, and at the conclusion of dinner service, the losing team must put two of their teammates on the chopping block.
