"The Bachelor" - Frankie can't hide her disappointment over whom "The Bachelor" chooses to marry and ends up moping around the house for days about it; Mike tries to toughen Sue up when she joins the school's tennis team and continually compliments her opponents during their matches; and Axl and Cassidy try to figure out where their relationship stands after their big fight, on "The Middle," WEDNESDAY, APRIL 3 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

"The Middle" stars Patricia Heaton as Frankie, Neil Flynn as Mike, Charlie McDermott as Axl, Eden Sher as Sue and Atticus Shaffer as Brick.

Guest starring are Jen Ray as Nancy Donahue, Beau Wirick as Sean Donahue, John Gammon as Darrin, Galadriel Stineman as Cassidy, Brittany Ross as Courtney, Natalie Lander as Debbie, Matt Champagne as tennis coach, Paul McKinney as tennis ref and Amy Okuda as opponent.

"The Bachelor" was written by Tim Hobert and directed by Lee Shallat Chemel.

"The Middle" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format with a 5.1 channel surround sound. This program carries a TV-PG parental guideline.
