05/23/2013 (08:30PM - 09:00PM) (Thursday) : BETH AND TOM HARPER COME TO TERMS WITH BETH'S NEW POWERS AND BETH TRIES TO RE-ESTABLISH TIES WITH OLD FRIENDS - Beth (Anne Heche) begins a new life on the straight and narrow and wants to make amends with old friends she has offended. Her efforts to return a long-ago stolen espresso machine to next door neighbor Maggie (Joy Osmanski) are rebuffed. Meanwhile, Tom (Michael Landes) learns to adjust to his wife's newfound ability to communicate with God and they both try to re-establish some sense of normality with their old friends and their daughter Emily (Madison Davenport). Alexandra Breckenridge and Heather Burns also star.

(from NBC's press release, April 2013) Anne Heche stars in the comedy "Save Me," which is set to debut Thursday, May 23 (8 and 8:30 p.m. ET) with two back-to-back episodes. Heche portrays a Midwestern mom and wife who undergoes a spiritual awakening after suffering a near-death experience. From Sony Pictures Television and Original Film, "Save Me" was created by John Scott Shepherd, who executive produces with director Scott Winant ("Breaking Bad," "True Blood"), Neal H. Moritz, Vivian Cannon and Alexa Junge.
