PROSECUTORS SEEK TO PUSH THEIR CASE AGAINST ALLEGED COP KILLER AND GO AFTER A DOCTOR WHEN LIPOSUCTION LEAVES A FORMER MODEL DEAD ON CBS NEWS' "BROOKLYN DA" JUNE 4, 2013, 10:00 PM, ET/PT

One of Brooklyn's toughest prosecutors goes after the alleged killer of a New York City police officer and the head of the Rackets Division pursues a doctor who performed a liposuction procedure on a former model that went horribly wrong, on the next broadcast of CBS News' BROOLKYN DA, June 4, 2013 (10:00 PM ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network

BROOKLYN DA focuses on an eclectic group of men and women in the Kings County District Attorney's Office and their lives inside and outside of the courtroom.

The second broadcast takes viewers inside as Deputy District Attorney Ken Taub, chief of the Homicide Division, creates a case against the alleged killer of NYPD officer, Pete Figoski. Taub makes his case, while the officer's four young daughters try to put their lives back together without their dad. Elsewhere, Mike Vecchione, Chief of the Rackets Division, pursues a doctor whose patient - a former model - died after undergoing liposuction. The investigation is advanced when prosecutors believe they uncover an elaborate cover-up. They say their case is bolstered when documents are examined by a world famous handwriting expert, a descendant from the family of experts that helped crack the Lindbergh baby kidnapping case. Meanwhile, Lawrence Oh, ADA, Bureau Chief, Rackets Division, continues his quest to use technology to capture a potential thief with a taste for high-end art.

BROOKLYN DA was created by Patti Aronofsky, who is also the senior supervising producer. Ruth Chenetz, Lisa Freed, Susan Mallie, Taigi Smith and Elena DiFiore are the producers. Doreen Schechter, Michael Vele and Kevin Dean are the producer-editors. Mead Stone is the senior creative producer. Anthony Batson is the senior broadcast producer.
