AMOS WINBUSH III, FOUNDER OF A MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR TECHNOLOGY FIRM, RETURNS HOME TO LOUISIANA FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE HURRICANE KATRINA, ON ABC'S "SECRET MILLIONAIRE"

"Amos Winbush: New Orleans, LA" - It was 2005 when Hurricane Katrina hit Louisiana and the Mississippi Gulf Coast, leaving a wake of destruction in her path. With so many local residents still recovering from the storm, Amos Winbush III travels back to his home state with a mission to find deserving people and organizations in need. During his week-long visit, he meets a number of grass-roots organizations that touch and move him in amazing ways, including: St. Paul's Homecoming Center, a non-profit that is dedicated to restoring and rebuilding the homes of displaced residents; Hope United Church & Community Center; and A's and Aces, a program that works with children and focuses on improving literacy, teaching positive behavior and citizenship all while promoting healthy living through the game of tennis. Amos also meets some strong and determined local residents who change his life in a number of ways. After a week of getting to know these people and organizations, he shares the surprise of a lifetime with them, on "Secret Millionaire" SUNDAY, AUGUST 25 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Amos Winbush III is the CEO and founder of CyberSynchs, a multi-million dollar technology firm that specializes in universal data transfer and synchronization. Frustrated when his iPhone crashed, Amos turned a problem and a $250 investment into a company with global reach. He is committed to making a difference and regularly donates resources and technology to schools nationwide. Amos is also on the boards of companies including The New York Urban League, The United States Congressional Awards and The New York Business Development Corporation. In addition he speaks frequently to organizations like Project Enterprise, which works to promote social change.

Based on the hit UK series of the same name, each episode of "Secret Millionaire" follows one of America's most successful business people for one week as they leave behind their lavish lifestyles, sprawling mansions and luxury jets, conceal their true identities, and go to live and volunteer in some of the most impoverished and dangerous neighborhoods in the country. Their mission is to discover deserving individuals who continually sacrifice everything to help those in need, and ultimately encourage others to do the same. Throughout this incredible, life-changing experience, the Secret Millionaires attempt to remain undiscovered, coming face to face with extraordinary people battling the odds every day of their lives. On the final day, in an emotional and dramatic climax, they reveal their true identities. Ultimately, the millionaires each give away a great deal of their own money, changing lives forever and encouraging others to keep giving back.
