LEO CHALLENGES APRIL TO HAVE A LITTLE FUN IN AN ALL-NEW EPISODE OF "CHASING LIFE," AIRING TUESDAY, JULY 15TH AT 9:00PM ET/PT ON ABC FAMILY

Burbank, CA (June 26, 2014) - With the start of her treatment looming, April finds herself with Leo on an eye-opening joyride in "Clear Minds, Full Lives, Can't Eat!," an all-new episode of "Chasing Life," airing Tuesday, July 15th at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on ABC Family.

April gets a surprising invite to shadow Bruce Hendrie at his campaign ad shoot for the paper. While there, Leo senses her apprehension of her diagnosis and challenges April to take control of her future. Not one to back down from a challenge, April accepts and gets a taste of Leo's reckless and carefree life. But when things go too far, she learns the severity of Leo's illness.

Meanwhile, Brenna is unsure of her future with Kiernan, even more so when the relationship causes tension with her new friend Greer.

"Chasing Life" is adapted from the successful Televisa Spanish-language Mexican television series and is a co-production of BV Family Productions, Lionsgate, and Televisa in association with ABC Family. The series is executive produced by Sean Smith ("Greek"), Susanna Fogel ("Life Partners"), Joni Lefkowitz ("Life Partners") and Aaron Kaplan ("Terra Nova"). "Chasing Life" stars Italia Ricci ("Unnatural History"), Mary Page Keller ("NYPD Blue"), Aisha Dee ("I Hate My Teenage Daughter"), Richard Brancatisano ("The Elephant Princess") and Haley Ramm ("Red State"), with Steven Weber ("Two Broke Girls," "Wings") and Scott Michael Foster ("Greek") as recurring guest stars.
