THE DAZZLING COMPETITION CONTINUES ON "THE GREAT CHRISTMAS LIGHT FIGHT" DECEMBER 15 ON ABC

Celebrity Designers Michael Moloney & Sabrina Soto are Judges

It's the most wonderful time of the year as ABC's hit decorating competition series -- "The Great Christmas Light Fight," produced by FremantleMedia North America - continues its second season. Each of the six one hour episodes features 4 families from across America who work harder than the elves themselves in order to out-deck the halls of their competition and possibly win the ultimate Christmas Gift--$50,000! The total prizing for the series is $300,000. Michael Moloney & Sabrina Soto (both from "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition") return as judges for the series. "The Great Christmas Light Fight" airs back-to-back episodes on MONDAY, DECEMBER 15 on the ABC Television Network. This season's families were chosen through an extensive nationwide search, based on their previous elaborate Christmas light displays, incredible choreography and over-the-top designs. The week two episodes are:

"Episode 203," (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) - The sparkly bar is raised as four more families compete for $50,000 & supreme bragging rights featuring: the Lashbrook family from Owensboro, KY, whose display is a nostalgic wonderland with real pine trees planted specifically for Christmas decorating; the BetGeorge family from Newark, CA, have a musical extravaganza with live performances that they hope will earn them more than a standing ovation; down in San Antonio, TX, the Johnson family's synchronized light show is "not your Grandma's Christmas display," complete with a neighborhood dance party and dubstep soundtrack -- this family's enthusiasm will be tough to beat. And, the Alexander family who live on Christmas Tree Lane in Fresno, CA, have been topping themselves and their like-minded neighbors for 24 years with innovations such as their light mural, but is it enough to outshine their competition? Find out on ABC's "The Great Christmas Light Fight" MONDAY DECEMBER 15 on ABC.

"Episode 204," (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET) - Everything is bigger and quirkier in Dallas, TX, where Liz Simmons' "Electric Lizzy Land" is chock-full of festive critters and homemade crafts; three generations of the Ludy family in Columbus, GA, show their originality with one-of-a-kind wire frames that create an animated wonderland; the Huffty family of Jacksonville, FL, welcome onlookers with a life-size animatronic snowman named Sunny; and Vallejo, CA's Taylor family enlists their local fire department, and aluminum foil to blind the competition with their eye-popping display. Tune in to see what happens when the fire department is called after a display suffers a blackout during judging on ABC's "The Great Christmas Light Fight" airing Monday, Dec. 15.

"The Great Christmas Light Fight" comes from FremantleMedia North America ("American Idol," "America's Got Talent"). Executive Producers for the series are Brady Connell, Max Swedlow, Thom Beers and Jennifer Mullin.
