AWARD-WINNING "WHAT WOULD YOU DO?" TRAVELS TO TEXAS AIRING FRIDAY, JULY 17 AT 9:00 P.M. ET ON ABC

When People See a Situation that Cries Out for Action, Do They Step Up and Say Something or Step Away?

"What Would You Do?" takes the show on the road as it travels to Texas, including Austin, Blanco and San Antonio, John Quiones' hometown, with surprising scenario outcomes.

When you think no one is watching... what would you do? Whether people are compelled to act or mind their own business, John Quiones reports on their split-second and often surprising decision-making process. "What Would You Do?" airs FRIDAY, JULY 17 (9:02-10:00 p.m., ET) on ABC.

Friday, July 17 scenarios include:

· At a San Antonio restaurant, a family saying grace over their meal is interrupted by a woman - an atheist - who asks them not to pray in public. How will fellow diners react?

· A female customer expresses her displeasure when two cowboys hold hands and kiss while sitting at a BBQ restaurant in Blanco, Texas. How will other customers respond?

· At a gun store, a father wants to buy his young son his first gun for his seventh birthday. But a "What Would You Do?" actor confronts the father telling him the son is too young and the father is being irresponsible buying him a gun. How will other shoppers react?

· San Antonio has one of the nation's largest active and retired military populations. So what will happen when a military veteran at the check-out counter does not have enough money to buy his groceries? How will other shoppers react?

· A street musician is playing his guitar at a busy plaza. He is singing songs with lyrics that include obnoxious/rude descriptions of the people walking by. How will people react?

"What Would You Do?" has won awards from the Chicago International Television Festival and the Avon Foundation's 2006 Voice of Change award for exposing "injustice and wrongdoing against women and bringing the issue of domestic violence to the mainstream."

Danielle Rossen is executive producer of "What Would You Do?"
