A FATHER SON MOMENT GOES AWRY WITH MURRAY AND ADAM WHILE BARRY ERASES HIS PAST, ON ABC'S "THE GOLDBERGS"

"Jimmy 5 is Alive" - Murray attempts to help Adam transition into adulthood by building a robot, but their creative differences drive them apart, the opposite of what Murray was trying to achieve. Meanwhile, Barry makes a huge mistake when he accidentally tapes over Beverly's beloved video of his 5th birthday party, on "The Goldbergs," WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 7 (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

"The Goldbergs" stars Wendi McLendon-Covey ("Bridesmaids") as Beverly Goldberg, Patton Oswalt ("Ratatouille") as adult Adam Goldberg, Sean Giambrone as Adam Goldberg, Troy Gentile ("Good Luck Chuck") as Barry Goldberg, Hayley Orrantia ("The X Factor") as Erica Goldberg, AJ Michalka as Lainey Lewis with George Segal ("Just Shoot Me") as Pops Solomon and Jeff Garlin ("Curb Your Enthusiasm") as Murray Goldberg.

Guest starring is Bryan Callen as Coach Mellor, Sam Lerner as Geoff Schwartz, Noah Munck as Naked Rob and Matt Bush as Andy Cogan.

"Jimmy 5 is Alive" was written by Alex Barnow and directed by Lew Schneider.
