ALL IN THE BANK-ROBBING FAMILY
Airing on "20/20," Friday, December 25, 10 p.m. on ABC
It was a story that made national headlines. Scott Catt, his 20-year-old son, Hayden, and his 18-year-old daughter, Abby, accused of working together to rob a bank in Texas. Hayden and his dad went into the banks while Abby served as the getaway driver. The Catts made off with close to $100,000 before they were caught. "20/20" spoke with all three Catts about how this all-American family ended up in jail for bank robbery. Now, "20/20" is there when Abby Catt is released from jail after three years. While Abby was in jail she met Susie Gregory, a married mother of two grown sons, who volunteered at the jail as a sewing teacher. After seeing the original "20/20" report about the Catts in 2013, Gregory was outraged at how Abby's father had manipulated her into a life of crime and is now helping Abby rebuild her life.
Matt Gutman reports on the unlikely family drama on "20/20," airing on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 25 (10:01--11:00 p.m. EST) on the ABC Television Network. (OAD: 12/13/13)
"20/20" is anchored by Elizabeth Vargas and David Muir. David Sloan is senior executive producer.
