An all new episode of AMC's "Hell on Wheels" airs Saturday, July 16h at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. In the episode entitled, "Railroad Men," the race to finish the railroad comes down to inches, forcing all parties to contemplate the end of the line, and what the future holds for them.
The last seven episodes of "Hell on Wheels" is the end of the line for Cullen Bohannon (Anson Mount) and his work on America's first transcontinental railroad. The final push to finish brings with it a reckoning for Bohannon and the men standing in his path: the bloodthirsty Swede (Christopher Heyerdahl); the mercenary Chang (Byron Mann); and the rapacious Thomas Durant (Colm Meaney). Bohannon contends with corruption, greed and murder as he leads the trek to complete the final stages of the building of the railroad from the Central Pacific through the Sierras and across the Utah desert to Promontory Point. While the railroad's completion is certain, who and what will survive when the golden spike is finally planted remains in question - with no one more at risk than Cullen Bohannon.
An all new episode of AMC's limited series, "The American West," airs Saturday, July 16th at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. On the sixth episode, "The Big Killing" - executive produced by Robert Redford and Stephen David, and directed by John Ealer - Billy the Kid seeks revenge for the death for his friend. Wyatt Earp questions his future as a lawman. Jesse James reemerges from years in hiding.
Spanning the years 1865 to 1890, "The American West," will show how - in the aftermath of the Civil War - the United States transforms into the "land of opportunity." Viewers will be transported into the violent world of cowboys, Indians, outlaws and law men. The 8-episode limited event series chronicles the personal, little-known stories of Western legends such as Jesse James, Billy the Kid, Wyatt Earp, Crazy Horse and Sitting Bull. The series features exclusive interviews with notable names from classic Western films, including Redford, James Caan, Burt Reynolds, Tom Selleck, Kiefer Sutherland, Mark Harmon, Ed Harris and more.
An all new episode of AMC's "Preacher" airs Sunday, July 17th at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. On the seventh episode, "El Valero" - written by Eric Dufault and directed by Kate Dennis - In a fierce gun battle Jesse faces off against Quincannon and the Meat Men to protect his church, while Tulip tries to save a friend.
Based on the popular cult comic book franchise of the same name, Preacher is a supernatural, twisted and darkly comedic drama that follows a Texas preacher named Jesse Custer, who is inhabited by a mysterious entity that causes him to develop a highly unusual power: the ability to make people do his bidding with just a word. Once this power attracts the attention of two mysterious angels (Fiore and DeBlanc), Jesse, his badass ex-girlfriend Tulip, and an Irish vampire named Cassidy are thrust into a crazy world populated by a cast of characters from Heaven, Hell and everywhere in between.
The Sony Pictures Television and AMC Studios co-production was developed for television by Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg ("This Is the End," "Superbad," "Neighbors") and showrunner Sam Catlin ("Breaking Bad").
The final episode of season one of AMC's new original non-fiction series, "Ride with Norman Reedus" airs Sunday, July 17th at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. The series follows "The Walking Dead" fan-favorite star and motorcycle enthusiast as he hits the open road to explore local biker culture and celebrate the best and brightest collectors, mechanics and craftsmen around the country.
On the finale, "The Keys with Peter Fonda," Norman hooks up with the 'Easy Rider' himself, Peter Fonda, for a ride down to The Keys. They check out some unique bikes, and meet some unique people.
Each one-hour installment of "Ride with Norman Reedus" features Reedus with a riding companion - notable guests have included Peter Fonda, Robert Rodriguez and Balthazar Getty - as they journey to new destinations throughout the United States, including North Carolina, Florida, California, Nevada, Texas and Louisiana. Reedus and friends stop by various locales such as custom bike shops, tattoo parlors, collector's warehouses, or a roadside smokehouse. The series is produced by Left/Right Productions.
