"The Root of All Evil" - April's mom extends her stay at April and Marc's place, but puts more of a rift in their relationship. Unbeknownst to Karen, Lydia creates an online dating profile using Karen's photo, which leads to Karen meeting up with a guy. Kate decides to move out of Harry and Joss' place, and Harry becomes furious when he discovers Joss knew about Scott and Kate's relationship and deliberately withheld it. Joss begins taking pills to deal with her anxiety and stress, which leads her down a dangerous path.
Based on the hit U.K. television series of the same name, "Mistresses" airs MONDAY, AUGUST 15 (10:01-11:00 p.m. EDT), on the ABC Television Network. The provocative and thrilling drama continues to focus on the scandalous lives of a sexy and sassy group of girlfriends, each on their own path to self-discovery.
"The Root of All Evil" was written by Justin Lo and directed by Jerry O'Connell.
"Mistresses" stars Yunjin Kim as Karen Kim, Rochelle Aytes as April Malloy, Jes Macallan as Josslyn "Joss" Carver, Brett Tucker as Harry Davis, Rob Mayes as Marc Nickleby and Tabrett Bethell as Kate Davis.
Guest starring are Lynn Whitfield as Marjorie, Alanna Masterson as Lydia, Haley Ramm as Stacey North, Brian Gattas as Randy and Ella Thomas as Jackie.
