Four close friends from Hollywood think they've got what it takes to challenge each other to be their best on an all-new episode of "The Letter," airing TUESDAY, OCTOBER 25 (9:00-10:00 p.m. EDT), on Freeform.

In the episode, titled "Hollywood It-Crowd," four best friends all trying to break into showbiz, decide to take The Letter challenge together. They will each draw names and anonymously write to the selected person a letter outlining their opinion of what behavior or actions need to be changed. Will this ultimate test of their friendship bond or tear them apart?

· Dio is the lone male of the group who only hangs out with his gal pals. His friends want to see him try to meet other gay men in the community.

· Katie, an aspiring actress, is too flaky, and not only blows off her friends, but has even missed auditions because of it. Her lack of focus is causing her to miss opportunities.

· Savannah, the other thespian in the group, is so afraid of rejection, she's sabotaging her own career by not being confident enough to book roles.

· Samara is a singer-songwriter who was attacked by a good friend and is now living deeply in denial. Her friends know she needs counseling to help her try to come to terms with the assault.

When each friend receives their letter, they are required to follow all of the letter's instructions for one week. Dio has to join a kickball game run by the varsity gay league; Katie has to show up to all of her friends' challenges to offer her support; Savannah has to go out and potentially be rejected by dozens of strangers; and Samara has to not only attend a support group, but perform one of her songs in front of them.

"The Letter" is a bold, new relationship show that asks the simple question: "If you could anonymously tell your best friend in a letter the things that he or she really needed to hear, would you do it?" In each stand-alone episode, four friends draw names and anonymously write to the selected person a thoughtful, yet totally honest letter outlining their opinion of what needs to be changed in order to improve and transform their friend's life for the better. For one week, each "reader" must follow all the rules and instructions outlined in the letter - culminating in a dramatic and emotionally charged meeting where the authors of each letter reveal themselves to their best friends. The series is narrated by actress Zelda Williams ("Dead of Summer").
