Join Chris Harrison for a one-hour special edition of "The Bachelor" entitled "The Bachelor: Countdown to Nick," airing SUNDAY, JANUARY 1 (8:00-9:00 p.m. EST). Viewers will get a more in-depth look at our newest Bachelor, the controversial fan-favorite Nick Viall. Bachelor Nation weighs in on Nick's latest attempt to find love. Get an up-close and personal look at a few of the 30 amazing bachelorettes, who will be trying to capture the final rose will be featured, as well as some of the most memorable "Night One" arrivals in Bachelor history and delightful introductions of adorable babies by their proud Bachelor parents.
"The Bachelor" premieres on MONDAY, JANUARY 2 (8:00-10:01 p.m. EST), on the ABC Television Network.
Nick is no stranger to the millions of people who watch the hit romance reality franchise, having been the runner-up on two consecutive editions of "The Bachelorette" and appearing on "Bachelor in Paradise," only to see his dreams of love fall short. A trip down memory lane will feature a number of the most unforgettable, shocking and funny "Night One" arrivals in Bachelor history. Viewers also will get a closer look at some of the accomplished and beautiful bachelorettes, who will be arriving that first night to try to win Nick's heart.
New parents Ashley and J.P. Rosenbaum and Desiree and Chris Siegfried will introduce their precious additions to their families. Sean and Catherine Lowe, Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth, and newest "Bachelor in Paradise" couples Amanda Stanton and Josh Murray and Carly Waddell and Evan Bass will offer updates on their lives after their love stories played out very publicly in front of millions of viewers.
Then, finally, the wait is over! Viewers will get a sneak peek at the upcoming new season of "The Bachelor" with Nick, which premieres Monday, January 2.
