'20/20' REMEMBERS ANNA NICOLE SMITH 10 YEARS AFTER HER SUDDEN DEATH
The Report Features Exclusive Content With Her Daughter
and a New Interview With Larry Birkhead
'Anna Nicole Smith: Tenth Anniversary' Airs on '20/20,' Friday, February 10, on ABC
Ten years after her sudden death, "20/20" remembers Playboy model and reality television star Anna Nicole Smith, revealing new information about her glamorous and mysterious life. Correspondent Deborah Roberts sits down with Larry Birkhead, Anna Nicole's ex-boyfriend, in a new interview about raising their daughter, Dannielynn Birkhead. The hour features exclusive content with Dannielynn, including a conversation between Roberts and her, who was a few months old when her mother died from an accidental overdose. "20/20" also speaks with others who were close to Anna Nicole, who share never-before-heard stories about her life.
In the early 1990s Anna Nicole stepped into the spotlight as a Playboy Playmate of the Year and as the face of Guess Jeans, marrying J. Howard Marshall in 1994, who was 63 years older. When Marshall passed away in 1995, Anna Nicole and Marshall's children argued over his fortune in court for years. In 2002 her reality show, "The Anna Nicole Show," launched and aired for two years. Her son Daniel Smith died from an accidental overdose in September 2006, days after Dannielynn was born, and five months later Anna Nicole passed away. 'Anna Nicole Smith: Tenth Anniversary' airs on "20/20," FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 10 (10:00-11:00p.m. EST), on ABC.
"20/20" is anchored by Elizabeth Vargas and David Muir. David Sloan is senior executive producer.
