NAN'S NATIONAL CAMPAIGN LAUNCH IS JEOPARDIZED BY A PENIS PHOTO, AND MARTIN DECIDES TO TAKE OUT PEPPER, ON 'DOWNWARD DOG'
"Getting What You Always Wanted" - Nan's long-anticipated national campaign is hours away from launching in Times Square on the Jumbotron, when an overwrought Nan discovers an algorithm has been flipped, and instead of blocking penis photos from the photo feed it will choose them, which could torpedo the whole campaign. Meanwhile, Martin decides to reduce Nan's stress by taking out his sworn enemy, Pepper, to unexpected results, on "Downward Dog," TUESDAY, JUNE 27 (10:01-10:30 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network.
"Downward Dog" stars Allison Tolman as Nan, Lucas Neff ("Raising Hope") as Jason, Nan's ex-boyfriend; Kirby Howell-Baptiste ("Love") as Jenn, Nan's best friend and co-worker; and Barry Rothbart ("The Wolf of Wall Street") as Kevin, Nan's boss.
Guest starring Maria Bamford as Pepper, Ayden Mayeri as Gwen, Michelle Veintimilla as Sam, Siovhan Christensen as Keira and Ned as Martin.
"Getting What You Always Wanted" is written by Laura Kittrell and directed by Paul Murphy.
"Downward Dog" series creators Michael Killen and Samm Hodges executive produce with Mosaic's Jimmy Miller and Sam Hansen, and Animal Media's Kathy Dzubiek. Showrunners Kat Likkel and John Hoberg also executive produce. The series is produced by Legendary Television and ABC Studios. It is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format with 5.1 channel surround sound.
