THE DRAMA CONTINUES ON ABC'S 'BACHELOR IN PARADISE'

DeMario Jackson Will Tell His Side of the Story in an In-studio Interview With Host Chris Harrison Tuesday, August 22

"Episode 402A" - The show is back in full swing and the deliciously juicy and hysterically funny episode of "Bachelor in Paradise" airing MONDAY, AUGUST 21 (8:00-10:01 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network, proves it. The fun begins when a cast-off cast member from Rachel's season of "The Bachelorette" washes up with a date card burning a hole in his pocket. Except for one hot and heavy couple, many of the girls are excited to see him, making the some of the guys jealous.

Later, one frustrated female, who doesn't know where she stands with her man, makes it clear she would love to go on a date with the newcomer. Meanwhile, another dissatisfied damsel is ready to repel the two would-be heroes for a chance to get to know the new guy. On a date, new kid on the block and the hot commodity bond over margaritas, then stumble upon some dancers, who cheer the crushing couple on as they stumble through the fancy dance moves and crush it. The guy hopes his dancing is good enough to earn him a rose later on that night.

During the cocktail party leading up to the first rose ceremony of the season, one guy tells one of the women he wants to slow down their relationship ... a bold move considering that, with 12 guys scrambling after eight roses, some of them are about to have the gates of Paradise slammed behind them.

The morning after, one lucky loser is safe but sorry, having received a rose from a buddy rather than from his prospective bride. But he's feeling no pain when a nubile newbie bounces into Paradise, showing a date card and ample cleavage. Although all the guys find her hot (and all the girls are worried about losing their guys to her), she has her eyes only on one individual ... until she finds out interesting news about another couple.

At the bonfire, one doll is feeling encouraged by the talk she had with one of the pretty boys until he shows up with a birthday cake for someone else! She runs off to cry into her pillow.

"Episode 402B" - In the next action-packed episode that airs TUESDAY, AUGUST 22 (8:00-10:01 p.m. EDT), two new arrivals bring sex, jealousy and deceit to Paradise (or rather, even more sex, jealousy and deceit). The first arrival has her eyes on the prize that another woman thought she had won on the last episode.

Meanwhile, a frustrated husband-hunter has her own troubles, when she receives a date card and doesn't have anyone interested in her to ask out. After a rigorous interview process, she offers the job to the candidate with the most promise, who takes the position, but only, as it turns out, until a better opportunity comes along, in the fabulously fetching form of the next arrival.

The worst fear of one comes true when a meddlesome matchmaker names the new potential couple and does her utmost to make it stick, really pissing off some of the others. A spoiled sport happily accepts his second date of the day, without even checking with her first which sends the spurned spinster into a crying fit and a confrontation with the meddlesome matchmaker. A lovely but left-alone lady decides to depart Paradise before the approaching rose ceremony. On her way out, she stops at the bar to say goodbye to bartender Wells who she secretly has a crush on. He also has a crush on her but it is against the rules of Paradise to take any relationship to the next level but they share a moment in time they won't soon forget.

Paradise then heads to the studio where host Chris Harrison thanks Bachelor Nation for its continued support through this controversial season that almost didn't happen. The rest of the show is dedicated to answering some questions about the incident that led to the production shutdown and the media frenzy that followed, including an in-studio interview with DeMario Jackson. Corinne Olympios will sit down with host Chris Harrison in the Tuesday, August 29 episode.

Then, Bachelor Nation newlyweds Carly and Evan pay a visit to make a very special surprise announcement and to introduce the newest member of the Bachelor family.

America will watch as they fall in love or go through renewed heartbreak. "Bachelor in Paradise" will feature shocking twists, surprises, unexpected guests and some of the most unlikely relationships in "Bachelor" history. There's no telling who will find love this season, just like Jade and Tanner did and their subsequent 2016 wedding.
