AMNESIA

British Psychological thriller that aired on PBS Masterpiece Mystery and stars John Hannah (Rebus, The Mummy, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Jemma Redgrave (Doctor Who), Anthony Calf (New Tricks), Patrick Malahide (Game of Thrones, The Paradise) and Brendan Coyle (Downton Abbey). A policeman (Hannah) is left distraught after his wife's sudden disappearance on their fifth wedding anniversary and strives tirelessly to discover what has happened to her. However, his efforts seem to be in vain and, despite suffering from terrifying hallucinations, he's forced to return to work - where he quickly becomes obsessed with the strange case of a man who also vanished in mysterious circumstances. Could the two cases be linked, or is he clutching at straws? (2 feature-length episodes, 2004)
