FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - "The Walking Dead" Season 8 finale airs Sunday, April 16th at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. On the season 8 finale episode, "Wrath," the season's storylines culminate in all out war when the communities join forces in the last stand against the Saviors.

Based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman and published by Image Comics, "The Walking Dead" reigns as television's most watched drama for Adults 18-49. "The Walking Dead" tells the story of the months and years that follow after a zombie apocalypse, and follows a group of survivors, led by police officer Rick Grimes, who travel in search of a safe and secure home. The series is executive produced by showrunner Scott M. Gimple, Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, David Alpert, Greg Nicotero and Tom Luse.

Season four of AMC's "Fear the Walking Dead" premieres on Sunday, April 15th at 10:10 p.m. ET/PT. On the premiere episode, "What's Your Story?" A lone traveler's wearying journey is interrupted by new acquaintances, some who become friend, others who become foe.

As "Fear the Walking Dead" returns for season four, we will see the world of Madison Clark and her family through new eyes - the eyes of Morgan Jones, who is joining the story from the world of "The Walking Dead." The characters' immediate pasts mix with an uncertain present of struggle and discovery as they meet new friends, foes and threats. They fight for each other, against each other and against a legion of the dead to somehow build an existence against the crushing pressure of lives coming apart. There will be darkness and light; terror and grace; and the heroic, mercenary and craven, all crashing together toward a new reality.

Produced by AMC Studios, "Fear the Walking Dead" is executive produced by Scott M. Gimple, showrunners Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg, as well as Robert Kirkman, David Alpert, Gale Anne Hurd and Greg Nicotero. This season stars Kim Dickens, Frank Dillane, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Colman Domingo and Danay Garcia, along with new series regulars Garret Dillahunt, Jenna Elfman, Maggie Grace and Lennie James.

Following the episode, viewers can catch an all-new episode of "Talking Dead" hosted by Chris Hardwick at 10:15 p.m. ET/PT, featuring "The Walking Dead" Showrunner Scott M. Gimple, "The Walking Dead" Creator Robert Kirkman, "The Walking Dead" Co-Stars Andrew Lincoln and Lennie James and "Fear The Walking Dead" Co-Stars Danay Garcia and Garret Dillahunt.

An all-new episode of "The Terror" airs Monday, April 16th at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT titled "First Shot a Winner, Lads," a strange illness begins to show itself while another more familiar one jeopardizes the expedition's most valuable resource - its captain's judgment.

"The Terror" is a suspenseful thriller that follows a British Royal Naval expedition as they set sail in search of the Northwest Passage. Faced with treacherous conditions, limited resources, dwindling hope, fear of the unknown and attacks by a mysterious predator, the crew is pushed to the brink of extinction. The series is speculative fiction based on the lost voyage where more than 120 crew members inexplicably disappeared. Their fate is one of the enduring mysteries of the age of exploration. This epic series features distinctive imagery and landscapes, with a visual quality that is emblematic in scale and scope of a Ridley Scott production.

The ten-episode series stars Jared Harris (The Crown, Mad Men) as Captain Francis Crozier, Tobias Menzies (Outlander) as Captain James Fitzjames, Ciar´┐Żn Hinds (Game of Thrones) as Sir John Franklin, Paul Ready (Cuffs) as Dr. Harry Goodsir, Adam Nagaitis (Suffragette) as Cornelius Hickey, Nive Nielsen (The New World) as Lady Silence and Ian Hart (Neverland) as Thomas Blanky.

"The Terror" is executive produced by Ridley Scott, David Kajganich, Soo Hugh, David W. Zucker, Alexandra Milchan, Scott Lambert and Guymon Casady and is produced by Scott Free, Emjag Productions and Entertainment 360 in association with AMC Studios.

Also, on Monday, an all-new episode of "McMafia," airing at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT, Vadim is convinced to broker peace in Istanbul, while Alex learns the dreadful price of his actions and Dmitri makes a decision that endangers them all.

"McMafia" charts Alex Godman's (James Norton) journey through a terrifying labyrinth of international criminals, money launderers, corrupt politicians and ruthless intelligence agencies. As the English-raised son of Russian exiles with a mafia history, Alex has spent his life trying to escape the shadow of his family's criminal past by building his own legitimate business and forging a life with his girlfriend. When his family's past murderously returns to threaten the life he has built, Alex is drawn into the criminal world and forced to confront his values to protect those he loves. What starts out as a story of survival and revenge becomes an epic tale of one man's struggle against the lures of corruption in the modern world and in himself.

DESCRIPTION:
(from AMC's press release, January 2018) AMC today made a number of announcements related to "The Walking Dead," the highest-rated cable series in history and the #1 show on television for the last six seasons and counting. The series is being renewed for a ninth season, to premiere in late 2018; current showrunner Scott M. Gimple is being elevated to Chief Content Officer, overseeing the entire "Dead" television universe, including "The Walking Dead," "Fear the Walking Dead," and potential brand extensions on a variety of platforms; and Angela Kang, who has been a writer on the show since 2011 and co-executive producer since 2013, is being promoted by Gimple to executive producer and showrunner of "The Walking Dead," starting with season nine. "This is an enormously important day for the entire 'The Walking Dead' television universe. We are proud to acknowledge Angela's significant contribution to the series and to set a clear path forward for a ninth season under her direction. Further, with gratitude and admiration, we also recognize Scott's broad impact on, and leadership of, the content that fuels our TWD universe. Together, we will dream bigger and more broadly than ever before," said Charlie Collier, president of AMC, SundanceTV and AMC Studios. "I know I speak for Angela, Scott and everyone at AMC when I say thanks most of all to the fans and the many talented people who have helped AMC play 'Dead.'" "'The Walking Dead' is a special show which started in an entirely different era of TV, and continues, in this new era, to confidently take chances to tell compelling stories that excite audiences and make them deeply connect with its characters, adapting Robert Kirkman's brilliant comic book," Gimple said. "As the show closes in on its tenth year, I'm honored to keep working with the talented, dedicated people behind and in front of the camera to make it all it can be, while expanding the world of 'The Walking Dead' with new narratives like 'Fear the Walking Dead' and a whole host of truly cool stories ahead. Angela is a big part of the heart and soul of 'The Walking Dead,' and I'm thrilled to help facilitate her vision of the show's next era." "I am beyond thrilled to be stepping into this new role with 'The Walking Dead.' Working on this series and having the opportunity to adapt Robert Kirkman's amazing comic has been a fangirl dream come true for me," said Kang. "I'm excited to continue working with Scott and the wonderfully supportive folks at AMC, and can't wait to share the next chapter of the story with our fans next fall."
