SEASON 3 OF AMC'S "HUMANS" PREMIERES AT 10:00 P.M. ET/PT
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - "Fear the Walking Dead" Season 4 continues on Sunday, June 3rd at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. On the all-new episode, "The Wrong Side of Where You Are Now," Madison's decision to help an adversary has unintended consequences. Meanwhile, John Dorie's life hangs in the balance.
In its fourth season, "Fear the Walking Dead" viewers will see the world of Madison Clark and her family through new eyes - the eyes of Morgan Jones, who joined the story from the world of "The Walking Dead." The characters' immediate pasts mix with an uncertain present of struggle and discovery as they meet new friends, foes and threats. They fight for each other, against each other and against a legion of the dead to somehow build an existence against the crushing pressure of lives coming apart. There will be darkness and light; terror and grace; and the heroic, mercenary and craven, all crashing together toward a new reality.
Produced by AMC Studios, "Fear the Walking Dead" is executive produced by Scott M. Gimple, showrunners Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg, as well as Robert Kirkman, David Alpert, Gale Anne Hurd and Greg Nicotero. This season stars Kim Dickens, Frank Dillane, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Colman Domingo and Danay Garcia, along with new series regulars Garret Dillahunt, Jenna Elfman, Maggie Grace and Lennie James.
Season three of AMC's "Into the Badlands" continues on Sunday, June 3rd at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. On the sixth episode, "Black Wind Howls," Sunny and Bajie call in a favor from Bajie's past, while The Widow interrogates an important captive who threatens her tentative peace with Pilgrim.
Season three of "Into the Badlands" finds Sunny (Daniel Wu) living off the grid, doing his best to provide for his infant son, Henry, in the wake of Veil's death. It is only when Henry contracts a mysterious illness that Sunny must join forces with Bajie (Nick Frost) and journey back into the Badlands, where The Widow (Beecham) and Baron Chau (Matsuura) are entrenched in a drawn-out war that has destabilized the entire region. No longer supported by Tilda (Ally Ioannides) or Waldo (Stephen Lang), The Widow must find new allies in Lydia (Orla Brady) and in Nathaniel Moon (Sherman Augustus) - the former regent who lost his hand to Sunny and Bajie in Season 2. But when a mysterious nomadic leader called Pilgrim (Babou Ceesay) arrives in the Badlands on a mission to restore Azra and usher in a new era of "peace," old enemies must band together to defend the Badlands.
"Into the Badlands" was created by showrunners/executive producers/writers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar and executive produced by Oscar(R)-nominated producers Stacey Sher and Michael Shamberg, director David Dobkin, fight director Stephen Fung and star Daniel Wu. The series stars Daniel Wu (Tomb Raider) as Sunny; Aramis Knight (Enders Game) as M.K.; Emily Beecham (Daphne) as The Widow; Orla Brady ("Fringe") as Lydia; Ally Ioannides ("Parenthood") as Tilda and Nick Frost as Bajie (Shaun of the Dead). This season, they will be joined by new series regulars Lorraine Toussaint ("Orange is the New Black"), Sherman Augustus ("Westworld"), Babou Ceesay ("Guerilla") and Ella-Rae Smith (Clique), as well as new recurring guest stars Dean-Charles Chapman ("Game of Thrones") and Lewis Tan ("Iron Fist").
Following the episode, viewers can catch an all-new episode of "Talking Dead" hosted by Chris Hardwick at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT, featuring "Fear the Walking Dead" star Colman Domingo and a surprise cast member.
Also, on Monday, AMC's new original series "Dietland," premieres with two back-back episodes at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. In part one of the series premiere, an obese Plum is determined to get weight loss surgery, but an encounter with a mysterious woman propels her down a risky path. Then, in part two of the series premiere, "Tender Belly", as the country learns more about Jennifer and its motives, Plum visits a radical feminist organization where she's made an offer she can't refuse.
Based on Sarai Walker's 2015 best-selling, critically acclaimed novel of the same name, "Dietland" is a wickedly funny and extraordinarily timed satire about Plum Kettle, a ghost-writer for the editor of one of New York's hottest fashion magazines. Struggling with self-image and fed up with how she's treated by her boss and society, Plum sets out on a wildly complicated road to self-awakening. At the same time, everyone is buzzing over news reports about men, accused of sexual abuse and assault, who are disappearing and meeting untimely, violent deaths. Plum finds herself in the middle of two warring factions - one sisterhood who may be responsible for the attacks on male harassers, and the other which preaches female empowerment. She straddles these two groups, trying to make sense of the changing world and her part in it.
The series stars Joy Nash ("The Mindy Project," "Twin Peaks") as Plum Kettle, and Golden Globe(R) and Emmy(R) Award-winner Julianna Margulies ("The Good Wife," "ER") as Kitty Montgomery. Marti Noxon ("Mad Men," "UnREAL,") serves as executive producer, writer, showrunner and directs multiple episodes on the series.
The first episode of the "Dietland" companion talk show, "Unapologetic with Aisha Tyler" will air on Monday, June 4 at 11:00 pm ET after two back-to-back episodes of "Dietland," and will then move to its regular weekly timeslot of 10:00 pm ET the following week.
Unlike a conventional after show confined to the companion series itself, "Unapologetic" will feature Tyler leading a topical discussion around the broader, female-centric issues and themes that "Dietland" explores. Tyler will be talking with celebrity fans, series actors and producers, as well as relevant journalists, writers, comedians and other tastemakers. Embassy Row's Michael Davies and Amanda McPhillips serve as executive producers.
Season 3 of AMC's critically-acclaimed scripted drama, "HUMANS" premieres on Tuesday, June 5th at 10:00 P.M. ET/PT. The series, penned by writing partners Sam Vincent and Jonathan Brackley (Spooks, Spooks: The Greater Good), is set in a parallel present and explores what happens when the lines between humans and machines are blurred. "HUMANS" provides a thrilling look at the evolution of technology and its effect on society. Timely and relevant, the eight-episode new season unfolds on a bigger scale than ever before.
Mark Bonnar ("Catastrophe," "Apple Tree Yard") joins series regulars Gemma Chan (Upcoming: "Captain Marvel," "Crazy Rich Asians"), Katherine Parkinson ("The Honorable Woman," "The IT Crowd"), Tom Goodman-Hill ("Mr. Selfridge," "The Imitation Game"), Emily Berrington ("24: Live Another Day," "The Inbetweeners 2"), Ivanno Jeremiah ("Black Mirror," "Doctor Who"), Colin Morgan ("Merlin," "The Fall") and Ruth Bradley ("Grabbers," "Pursuit").
Based on the award-winning Swedish sci-fi drama "Real Humans" created by Lars Lundstrom, "HUMANS" is executive produced by Vincent, Brackley, Derek Wax, Emma Kingsman-Lloyd for Kudos in association with Wild Mercury Productions and Lundstrom and Henrik Widman for Matador Films. Joining Vincent and Brackley in the writers' room is Debbie O'Malley, Namsi Khan, Jonathan Harbottle, Melissa Iqbal and Daisy Coulam. The series is produced by Vicki Delow for Kudos, SVT and Matador Films. The third season was commissioned for Channel 4 by Beth Willis and Simon Maxwell and Kristin Jones for AMC.
