ALL IS FAIR IN LOVE AND SUMMER AS CONNECTIONS ARE TESTED
ON ABC'S 'BACHELOR IN PARADISE,' MONDAY, AUG. 27, AND TUESDAY, AUG. 28
"Episode 504A" - The flames of passion burn white hot tonight, in a brand-new episode of "Bachelor in Paradise," airing MONDAY, AUG. 27 (8:00-10:01 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand. Jam-packed with romance, betrayal and confrontation amongst the brawny bachelors and bikini-clad bachelorettes, the only thing for certain is the drama that lies ahead.
With one fickle female bouncing back and forth between the well-groomed male model and the well-accented French Canadian, someone's heart is bound to be broken. Will it be the jealous boyfriend who refuses to back down after seeing the love of his life get hot and heavy with another man? Or will it be the unrelenting new lover who ends up making out with the resolute woman who originally had plans to break up with him? Or will it be the lady in this love triangle that gets left alone?
Speaking of love triangles, there is certainly no shortage in Paradise this season. One new arrival refuses to take no for an answer when he is turned down for a date by a girl who had been waiting for him but found herself falling for his friend before he could get there. She eventually agrees to give him a chance and when their mystical date turns into a hot make-out session, will the betrayed buddy go away quietly or step up his game to win his lady back?
When one bachelor leaves Paradise early, the distraught woman he leaves behind is desperate to find another man who would want all the love that she has to offer. Enter a newcomer who chooses her for a date that will give her new hope of finding the connection she has been looking for. While this new couple embarks on their new romantic journey, a solid couple hits a snag when his insecurities rear their ugly head and he suggests that she try dating other guys to test their relationship.
The women have the power of the roses this week. Yet no one knows who will get the rose of one desired darling torn between the likeable grocer from Chicago who makes her laugh and the beautiful-haired man she can more easily see herself in a relationship with beyond Paradise, that is, until a loose-lipped friend lets it slip that one of her suitors kissed another luscious blonde. Threatened with the loss of his lady, the guilty party reaches a breaking point that leaves everyone shocked.
"Episode 504B" - All may be fair in love and war, but that doesn't make it any less heartwrenching in this intense new episode airing TUESDAY, AUG. 28 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT). Just when one guy is feeling reassured about his relationship after standing up for his love, it's not long before his free-spirited girlfriend kisses yet another man on the beach. She feels compelled to tell her grocer in shining armor what happened, knowing it will hurt him once again and perhaps even lose his patience once and for all with her wandering ways. Meanwhile, the other man who couldn't keep his lips to himself no longer expects this capricious woman's rose, leading to a face-off that almost comes to blows and, ultimately, a hasty departure out of Paradise.
The early exit of this misguided young man still leaves four candidates campaigning for the rose of the only independent woman. Cast in the role of Bachelorette for the night, the single lady chats with all four contenders to see if any show promise of being the great love she has been longing for.
A new week brings the roses and the decision-making to the men, along with fresh female arrivals. With everyone in Paradise already happily coupled up, the new girls in town initially seem to be plumb out of luck until a seemingly trustworthy fellow, who just went all in on a relationship, agrees to go on a date with a newcomer. All of the ladies are shaken to the core, leaving them to ponder just how strong their relationships really are.
Hosted by Chris Harrison, "Bachelor in Paradise" is a production of Next Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Unscripted & Alternative Television.
