AXIOS, FOUR-PART LIMITED SERIES FROM
HBO DOCUMENTARY FILMS AND THE GROUNDBREAKING
NEW MEDIA COMPANY, DEBUTS THIS SUNDAY, NOV. 4
AXIOS, a four-part limited documentary series of news-oriented specials from HBO Documentary Films and the groundbreaking new media company of the same name, debuts this SUNDAY, NOV. 4 (6:30-7:00 p.m. ET/PT), followed by other editions subsequent Sundays at the same time.
The show will also be available on HBO NOW, HBO GO, HBO On Demand and partners' streaming platforms; in addition, the first edition will be available on HBO.COM following its Sunday-night debut.
Directed and produced by Emmy(R) winner Matthew O'Neill (HBO's "Baghdad ER") and Perri Peltz (HBO's "Remembering the Artist Robert De Niro, Sr."), the first show of the series will feature an exclusive sit-down interview with President Donald J. Trump and Axios journalists Jim VandeHei and Jonathan Swan, covering his views on: birthright citizenship; his relationship with the media; climate change; regulating tech giants like Google, Amazon and Facebook; health care; and the conflict in Yemen.
Subsequent shows will cover a range of subjects in politics, business and technology - and the topics shaping the future. The series will feature a combination of documentary shorts, illuminating interviews with major newsmakers and trustworthy insights delivered with Axios' signature "Smart Brevity" in a succinct, shareable format.
