Show #110 (season 6, show 27)

Debut: FRIDAY, NOV. 23 (7:30-8:00 p.m. ET/PT)

"A Living Hell": After nearly four years of war in Yemen, at least 10,000 civilians have been killed, while millions more have fled their homes and now face famine and disease. The situation is so dire that the UN has described it as the world's worst humanitarian disaster. The crisis was created in large part by U.S. allies Saudi Arabia and the UAE, who have used U.S.-supplied weapons and planes to turn Yemen into a living hell. Ben Anderson returns to the country, where he obtains access to the various groups waging war for the Saudi- and Emirati-led coalition, and sees the devastating effects of chaotic fighting and indiscriminate bombing on civilians.

"MDMA for PTSD": PTSD affects millions of Americans, including 20% of Iraq and Afghanistan veterans and up to 30% of first responders. However, available treatment is limited, resulting in long-term suffering and, in many cases, suicide. But a new set of trials using MDMA-assisted therapy has achieved remarkable results. VICE's Ben Anderson, who has been covering conflict for almost two decades and was diagnosed himself over a year ago, decided to try the treatment.
