At the funeral for David's (Alex Macqueen) father, Sally (Catherine Shepherd) accuses Kate (Robin Weaver) of trying to undermine her relationship with Emma (Julia Davis). Defying Dan's (Seb Cardinal) makeup instructions for her film role as an assistant baker, Emma ends up overplaying her scene, leading to an angry confrontation with the director, followed by an unexpected denouement.
