First, Emmy(R) Award-winning actress Regina King joins Alec for a conversation about her impressive career on both sides of the camera and the fear she had to overcome when she decided to direct. King, a Los Angeles native, reminisces about her early fashion line and reasons for creating it after experiencing acting success, shares what inspires her now and talks about her return to the big screen after many years in her newest project, "If Beale Street Could Talk." The proud mom talks about her relationship with son Ian, a music producer and deejay, her love of comedy and what's next in her career.

Next, Gloria Allred sits downs with Alec where she shares her sense of duty for her work, the privilege she feels to be an attorney and her philosophy that guides her life. The successful lawyer and feminist discusses her early life as a single parent and why she delayed her application to law school until she was in her 30s. Allred talks about starting her own practice and focusing on women's rights from the beginning, and her decision to represent victims instead of the accused. She shares her thoughts on #MeToo and whether things have gotten better, the Bill Cosby case, the importance of equal pay and her continued fight for equal rights.
