COLTON'S WHIRLWIND JOURNEY TO FIND LOVE BEGINS WITH THE WOMEN REVEALING OUTRAGEOUS 'FIRST' EXPERIENCES, A FAIRYTALE FIRST DATE AND AN INTENSE, UNCONVENTIONAL 'SUMMER CAMP' SHOWDOWN, ON ABC'S 'THE BACHELOR,' MONDAY, JAN. 14

Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman Offer Comic Performance Pointers to the Bachelorettes; Provocative Comedian Billy Eichner Supervises 'Camp Bachelor' Team Competitions

"2302" - Colton's search for love starts with laughs, surprises and intense face-offs between the women. The first date of the season has eight hopeful bachelorettes sharing personal stories about their "firsts" - with Colton and a live audience - and coached by happily married masters of comedy Megan Mullally ("Will & Grace") and Nick Offerman ("Parks and Recreation"). Hannah B. scores the first one-on-one date on her birthday, including dinner on The Queen Mary. Twelve eager women attend "Camp Bachelor" with a decidedly unorthodox camp counselor, actor and comedian Billy Eichner, who oversees three challenging contests. However, some ill-timed drama the night of the rose ceremony might lead to certain ladies being left without a rose on "The Bachelor," MONDAY, JAN. 14 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EST), on The ABC Television Network, streaming and on demand.

The game that captured the hearts of Bachelor Nation is back with all-new gameplay! Fans can now visit ABC.com/BFL, the ABC App and the ESPN Fantasy App to play The Official Bachelor Fantasy League, which allows players to compete with family, friends and the rest of #BachelorNation by building a weekly lineup of Bachelorettes based on weekly categories ranging from who gets a rose to who kisses Colton. The Bachelor Fantasy League sweepstakes is open to legal U.S. residents, 18 or older. No purchase is necessary to play. See official rules at ABC.com/BFL for full details and set your lineup today!

It's show time in Los Angeles, as eight bachelorettes join Colton at the venerable Regent Theater. Mullally and Offerman share the news that each of the ladies must prepare a monologue about a memorable "first-time" experience, which will be presented in front of an audience of 200 people. The couple, who are themselves huge Bachelor fans, offers unconventional advice and off-beat performance tips. Colton leads off the night with a candid monologue about the first time he revealed the truth about his virginity that allows the women to take some risks with their own stories. Night one rivals clash and one assertive bachelorette caps off her performance by kissing Colton! He ultimately rewards one experienced woman, who could teach him something about love, with the group date rose.

Hannah B. gets the birthday gift of a lifetime, scoring the first one-on-one date of the season. She and Colton share a scenic horseback ride in Los Angeles' scenic Vasquez Rocks National Area Park and a romantic, relaxing soak in a secluded hot tub, but she struggles to open up. Their dinner on the deck of the iconic ocean liner, The Queen Mary, will offer her another chance to convince Colton their connection is worth saving.

Colton mans the grill at "Camp Bachelor" as 12 anxious women arrive at the getaway spot, which offers summer camp experiences. Eichner divides the bachelorettes into two teams, facing off in three different, no-holds-barred challenges: a relay race, a canoe race and a game of tug-of-war. The winning team gets to stay for a "sleepaway camp night" with Colton. One woman tries to find the courage to share an embarrassing secret with the Bachelor. How will that affect his opinion of her and if she is ready for real commitment?

The tense cocktail party ignites an earlier feud between a young vixen and a more experienced woman, as the temptress stirs the pot by leading an unassuming Colton away for a private "relaxation" session, interrupting his chat with the other bachelorette. This little trick prompts the abandoned lady to spend the rest of the night in hysterical tears. Will the drama turn Colton off to both women?

Four heartbroken bachelorettes go home as the remainder celebrate continuing on the journey to capture Colton's love.

The 23 remaining women are the following:
Alex, 29, a dog rescuer from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
Angelique, 28, a marketing salesperson from Hamilton, New Jersey

DESCRIPTION:
(from ABC's press release, November 2019) It's the night Bachelor Nation has been waiting for! Airline pilot Peter Weber flew into the hearts of women everywhere and left all of America shocked and heartbroken when Hannah Brown decided to end their relationship. Now Peter is back and ready to once again capture hearts across the nation when he returns for another shot at love as the star of the 24th season of ABC's hit romance reality series "The Bachelor," premiering MONDAY, JAN. 6 (8:00-11:00 p.m. EST), on ABC. Episodes can also be viewed the next day on ABC.com, the ABC app and Hulu. Peter's search for his soul mate takes off to new heights on premiere day when a few women earn their wings on a daring group date plus other romantic dates - a first ever on a bachelor premiere - and will feature a special surprise visitor who has everyone talking! This year, "The Bachelor" delivered a whopping 4.3 rating among Adults 18-49 across all platforms after 35 days of delayed viewing, marking an impressive 19% gain versus the prior year. In addition, "The Bachelor" grew by more than 1 million viewers year over year, averaging 12.5 million Total Viewers in MP+35 during its most recent run. The show was Monday night's top-rated series among Adults 18-49 on each of its 10 telecasts of the season. A native of Westlake Village, California, Peter, 28, grew up just minutes from "The Bachelor" mansion. He was raised with a strong example of the marriage he wants by his loving parents. Having met while working on the same flight over 30 years ago, Peter's parents have set the perfect example of lasting love. He and his brother, Jack, followed in their parents' footsteps, developing a passion for aviation. At 23, Peter was working as a pilot; and by 25, he landed his dream job as captain for a major commercial airline. All that is missing now is someone with whom Peter can share his life.
