FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - "The Walking Dead" season nine mid-season premiere airs on Sunday, February 9h at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. On the mid-season premiere, "Adaptation," the communities thought they could build a better future separately, but the recent loss of one of their own drives them to band together. When new leaders rise a disturbing and dangerous threat is unmasked, while an escaped captive revisits his past. The episode is written by Corey Reed and directed by Greg Nicotero.

The second half of "The Walking Dead" Season 9 finds our groups of survivors, both old and new, continuing to deal with the impact of events that took place during the six years that have passed. Since the disappearance of Rick, many of these characters have become strangers to each other, and in some ways, strangers to themselves. What they do know is that they are in undeniable danger. They will soon realize the world just beyond does not operate as they thought. The group's rules and ways of survival no longer guarantee their safety. A whole new threat has crossed their paths, and they soon discover it's unlike any threat they have encountered or endured before. The group will start to question what they think they see. What may appear to be normal in this post-apocalyptic world could actually be more disturbing and terrifying than when the apocalypse first broke out. All that is certain is the stakes are high and numerous.

Following the episode, viewers can catch an all-new episode of "Talking Dead" hosted by Chris Hardwick at 10:14 p.m. ET/PT, featuring actor Norman Reedus and executive producer Greg Nicotero, who directed the mid-season premiere episode of "The Walking Dead."

Then late night, season 3 of "RIDE with Norman Reedus" premieres on Sunday, February 9th. On the all-new episode, "England: A Walking Dead Reunion," Norman Reedus and Jeffrey Dean Morgan take in the sights and sounds of London, roam mystic landscapes and head out to the countryside to meet up with former TWD co-star Andrew Lincoln and rock icon Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull.

"Ride with Norman Reedus" follows "The Walking Dead" star and motorcycle enthusiast Norman Reedus as he hits the open road to explore different cultures and experience the best scenery, food, nature, and local activities in the United States and around the world. Each episode features Reedus and a riding companion as they journey across an unknown terrain and experience the culture surrounding them... with plenty of time for unplanned detours and tire changes. "Ride with Norman Reedus" is produced by Left/Right ("This American Life," "The Circus," "James Cameron's Story of Science Fiction") with Ken Druckerman, Banks Tarver and Anneka Jones serving as Executive Producers along with Reedus.
