FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - "The Walking Dead" season nine continues on Sunday, March 24th at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. On the all-new episode, "The Calm Before," the fair at the Kingdom is underway, with all four communities coming together in celebration for the first time in years, while some pacts are renewed, other deals will come at a much steeper price. The episode is written by Geraldine Inoa and Channing Powell and directed by Laura Belsey.

The second half of "The Walking Dead" Season 9 finds our groups of survivors, both old and new, continuing to deal with the impact of events that took place during the six years that have passed. Since the disappearance of Rick, many of these characters have become strangers to each other, and in some ways, strangers to themselves. What they do know is that they are in undeniable danger. They will soon realize the world just beyond does not operate as they thought. The group's rules and ways of survival no longer guarantee their safety. A whole new threat has crossed their paths, and they soon discover it's unlike any threat they have encountered or endured before. The group will start to question what they think they see. What may appear to be normal in this post-apocalyptic world could actually be more disturbing and terrifying than when the apocalypse first broke out. All that is certain is the stakes are high and numerous.

The mid-season premiere of "Into the Badlands" debuts on Sunday, March 24th at 10:25 p.m. ET/PT with an all-new episode, "Chamber of the Scorpion." Sunny and Bajie face off with Pilgrim, who lays out his deadly plan for the Badlands, meanwhile the Widow finds common ground with the Master. The episode is written by Evan Endicott and Josh Stoddard and directed by Wayne Yip.

As we enter the final chapter of "Into the Badlands", an imprisoned Bajie warns Sunny that Pilgrim can't be trusted. But with his son's life on the line, Sunny struggles with his decision to help Pilgrim unlock the Meridian Chamber. Meanwhile, M.K., still reeling from the revelation that Sunny killed his mother, is hellbent on revenge. Kidnapped by The Master, the Widow is forced to confront her past. Moon meanwhile races to save Lydia from impending death after she risked her life for his on the battlefield. As the last episodes unfold long buried secrets will be revealed, new alliances will be forged and the saga will climax in an epic battle to end all battles.

Following the episode, viewers can catch an all-new episode of "Talking Dead" hosted by Chris Hardwick at 11:26p.m. ET/PT, featuring "The Walking Dead" cast member Avi Nash and executive producer Scott M. Gimple.

Then on Monday, March 25th, "Into the Badlands" moves to its regular weekly timeslot of 10:00 p.m. ET, with an all-new episode, "Raven's Feather, Phoenix Blood." Pilgrim leads the hunt for near-fatally wounded Sunny, while the Widow confronts her inner demons in an attempt to restore her Gift. The episode is written by Michael Taylor and directed by Wayne Yip.
