This week on AMC Networks, the season two finale of Sundance Now's "Riviera," plus all-new episodes of "Fear the Walking Dead," "Lodge 49," "The Terror: Infamy," and "Preacher."
Season two of Sundance Now's "Riviera," finales on Thursday, August 22nd. On the season two finale episode, Georgina (Julia Stiles) learns surprising news about Nico (Jack Fox) - but as she hones in on the proof, events take a horrifying turn. Jeff's (Will Arnett) loyalty to Georgina is pushed to its limit, while Irina threatens to crack under pressure as the family's suspicions grow.
With Irina hospitalized by a family feud, Georgina (Julia Stiles) sees the terrible damage that her lies and actions have caused the family. Adriana runs to the Eltham family and Nico (Jack Fox), while Christos begins to piece together the jigsaw puzzle of Georgina's lies.
"Riviera's" highly anticipated return picks up in the immediate aftermath of the explosive first series finale, where the Clios family is faced with the tragic death of one of their own. Only this time, the blood is on the hands of our female protagonist, Georgina.
As Georgina tries to find a way to live with her crime, secrets from her past wash up on the sandy shores of the Cote d'Azur that force her to explore her turbulent childhood against her will. Following an unprecedented and unavoidable visit to her childhood home, Georgina returns with a refreshed sense of self to re-establish her power and position in the family alongside her charismatic confidant, uncle Jeff (Will Arnett).
Georgina very quickly becomes acquainted with the Eltham family, an English dynasty that sail in to the Cote d'Azur providing its shores with a dose of new money and glamour. She goes on to form relationships with the whole family, some that appear genuine from the outset and others that unravel around her as secrets, old and new, become exposed. Juliet Stevenson takes on the role of Lady Cassandra Eltham and is joined on the Riviera by her children, the impossibly stylish Daphne (Poppy Delevingne) and the brooding Nico (Jack Fox) and Daphne's husband Raafi (Alex Lanipekun).
Elsewhere in the Riviera, the rest of the Clios family is still reeling from Constantine's death. Christos (Dimitri Leonidas) is on the brink of losing everything, Adriana (Roxanne Duran) loses herself in a dangerous affair and Irina struggles to find her lost son, Adam.
The Riviera has never been so tempestuous. Torn between her past and her present, can Georgina navigate her way to safer waters, or will she lose her place in a world that she has grown to control?
"Fear the Walking Dead" season five continues on Sunday, August 25th at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. In this week's episode, "You're Still Here," Alicia struggles to find her new role in the convoy, as she's drawn to mysterious artwork. A simple scouting trip is derailed when she and Strand are thrust into a conflict between desperate survivors. Meanwhile, Morgan and Al hit a roadblock.
In the second half of season five, after successfully proving their way can work, our heroes gain momentum, rescuing survivors, and spreading the message of hope along the way -- until foes both familiar and unexpected arise, forcing the group to question whether their brand of altruism can really make a difference in a world filled with death and decay.
"Preacher" season four continues on Sunday, August 25th at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. On the fifth episode, "Bleak City," Tulip makes her way to Cassidy and Eugene catches up with his Preacher - though this reunion might be cut short by the Saint of Killers. Starr struggles to keep track of the apocalypse as the Grail's agenda threatens to unwind.
"Preacher" stars Dominic Cooper, Academy Award(R) nominee Ruth Negga and Joseph Gilgun, along with series regulars Ian Colletti, Graham McTavish, Pip Torrens, Julie Ann Emery, Noah Taylor, Mark Harelik and Tyson Ritter. As the series inches closer to the finale, God's endgame for the universe begins to click into place. Trapped between heavenly prophecies, hellish prisons, and all-out nuclear war, Jesse, Tulip, and Cassidy make their bloody way to the Most High. Whether they can reach God in time - or whether all this carnage is part of His divine plan - will soon be revealed as "Preacher" barrels towards the end of the world.
The Sony Pictures Television and AMC Studios co-production was developed for television by executive producer and showrunner Sam Catlin ("Breaking Bad") and executive producers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg ("Sausage Party," "This is the End," "Superbad"). The series is also executive produced by James Weaver for Point Grey Pictures, Neal H. Moritz, Ori Marmur, Vivian Cannon, Jason Netter, Michael Slovis, Mark McNair, Garth Ennis, Ken F. Levin and Sara Goodman.
"The Terror: Infamy" continues on Monday, August 26th at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT with an episode titled "Gaman." As the Terminal Islanders struggle with adjusting to their new surroundings, Chester searches for a way to provide for his family and for Luz, and to fend off the evil that he feels is following him. Henry reels from the trauma of his imprisonment. Asako tries to deal with bad omens. Amy takes up a new job.
"The Terror: Infamy" centers on a series of bizarre deaths that haunt a Japanese American community, and a young man's journey to understand and combat the malevolent entity responsible. In addition, the series is one of the first depicting the internment of Japanese Americans on such a massive scale - complete with authentically recreated camps in scope and scale as post-WWII.
The series stars Derek Mio, Kiki Sukezane (Lost in Space), Cristina Rodlo (Miss Bala), Shingo Usami (Unbroken), Naoko Mori (Everest), Miki Ishikawa (9-1-1) and renowned actor, producer, author and activist George Takei (Star Trek), who also serves as a consultant.
"The Terror: Infamy" is an AMC Studios production produced by Scott Free, Emaj Productions and Entertainment 360. In addition to Woo and Borenstein, Ridley Scott, David W. Zucker, Alexandra Milchan, Scott Lambert, Guymon Casady and Jordan Sheehan also serve as executive producers.
"Lodge 49" season two continues on Monday, August 26th at 10:01 p.m. ET/PT. On the third episode, "DisOrientation," Ernie recounts his trip to Mexico and Dud sees a solution to all the Lodge's problems. Meanwhile Liz works at Higher Steaks, and her and Dud spend time with a woman from their father's past.
Season two of this modern fable set in Long Beach, CA centers on likable "Squire" and ex-surfer Sean "Dud" Dudley (Wyatt Russell), whose beloved fraternal order -- the Ancient and Benevolent Order of the Lynx -- is suffering under new rule by an ill-suited leader. Despite his "Knight" and mentor Ernie's (Brent Jennings) lost faith, and his twin sister Liz's (Sonya Cassidy) struggle with their past, Dud believes he is the key to restoring the Lodge to its former grandeur and putting the rightful king on the throne. In addition to Russell, Jennings and Cassidy, this season's cast includes Linda Emond (Connie), Eric Allan Kramer (Scott) and David Pasquesi (Blaise).
Jim Gavin (Author, Middle Men) serves as creator, writer and executive-producer alongside showrunner Peter Ocko (Pushing Daisies, The Office). Additional executive producers include Paul Giamatti (Billions, Sideways, Outsiders, Hoke), Dan Carey (Outsiders, Hoke, John Dies at the End, All Is Bright) and Jeff Freilich (Halt and Catch Fire, Grace and Frankie). "Lodge 49" is an AMC Studios production.
