HBO DOCUMENTARY NEWS SERIES AXIOS RETURNS FOR FALL DEBUT THIS SUNDAY, OCTOBER 20; NEW EPISODE LOOKS AT REPUBLICAN SENATORS ROLE IN THE IMPEACHMENT PROCESS, INCLUDING INTERVIEWS WITH SENATORS LINDSEY GRAHAM AND MITT ROMNEY

NEW YORK, NY, October 18, 2019 The fall season of the news-breaking documentary series AXIOS debuts this SUNDAY, OCT. 20 (6:00-6:30 p.m. ET/PT) with four episodes over the next four Sundays, exclusively on HBO.

The series will also be available on HBO NOW, HBO GO, HBO On Demand and partners streaming platforms.

The fall premiere features a look into the impeachment inquiry. If a majority of the House of Representatives vote to impeach President Trump, it is up to the Republican-held Senate to determine what happens next. AXIOS national political reporter Jonathan Swans conversation with Graham and AXIOS co-founder Mike Allens conversation with Romney delves into their thoughts on the United States military pullback from Syria, the Turkish offensive against the Kurds and the impact that could have on American foreign policy.

Also, AXIOS plugs into one of the fastest growing sporting phenomena eSports, including a rare sit-down with Bobby Kotick the CEO of Activision Blizzard to discuss the future and financial viability of the industry.

Finally, Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren is known for having a lot of plans. For one of her most ambitious ones, she turned to two French economists, Emmanuel Saez and Gabriel Zucman. Mike Allen talks with them about their work on a wealth tax and how it would impact some of the wealthiest Americans.
