HBO Documentary News Series AXIOS Continues November 7

The Emmy(R)-winning series AXIOS on HBO continues with a new episode SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 7 (6:00-6:30 p.m. ET/PT). The sharp and insightful news-making series features thought-provoking interviews with top leaders from the worlds of politics, tech, media, science, and business. Directed and produced by Emmy(R) winners Matthew O'Neill and Perri Peltz, the series features Axios' signature Smart Brevity(R) analysis, documentary-style reporting, and in-depth conversations on the topics and trends shaping the globe.

The series will air on HBO and be available to stream on HBO Max.

This week's episode features the following segments:

· Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) is joined by Axios co-founder Mike Allen in Hawley's D.C. office for a wide-ranging conversation on Big Tech, the supply chain crisis, his recent comments about masculinity, and his support of the January 6th protestors.

· Serum Institute CEO Adar Poonawalla sits down with Axios national political correspondent Jonathan Swan in Pune, India at the institute's headquarters to discuss the company's role as the largest manufacturer of vaccines in the world, Prime Minister Narenda Modi's decision to shut down vaccine exports from India, vaccine nationalism, and corporate profiteering.

· Amtrak CEO William Flynn meets Axios managing editor Margaret Talev in New York Penn Station's new Moynihan Hall to talk about Amtrak's stakes in President Biden's infrastructure bill, the company's 2021 rebound, and the impact of climate change on passenger railways.
