Harry Wild (Acorn TV Original) | Episodes 1 and 2 of 8 - SERIES PREMIERE
EPISODE 1: When Harry Met Fergus
When retired literature professor, Harriet "Harry" Wild (Jane Seymour, The Kominsky Method) becomes the victim of a mugging, it starts a series of events that lead Harry to a whole new life. Harry goes to stay with her son, Charlie, a senior Guard. When she realizes Charlie's latest investigation bears striking similarities to an obscure Elizabethan play and her offer of help is rudely rejected, Harry decides she will find the killer herself to prove she was right. When her path crosses that of her mugger, Fergus Reid, rather than turning him in, Harry employs him as her sidekick and together they catch a killer.
EPISODE 2: Samurai Plague Doctors Kill for Kicks
Experiencing fifteen minutes of fame after the events of episode one, Harry and Fergus are approached by a woman desperate to find out how her husband died. Initially reluctant to get involved, Harry's interest is soon piqued when Fergus discovers there's a lot more to this than meets the eye. Employing their own inimitable style, Harry and Fergus discover gamblers are running a snuff game in Dublin. Adamant not to repeat the same mistakes, Harry turns over the evidence they uncover to Charlie, vowing to stay out of it. Unfortunately, the killers, whose game Harry has ruined, have other ideas.
