THE SECRETARY AND THE BORDER - Sharyn Alfonsi reports from the U.S.-Mexico border and interviews homeland security secretary Alejandro Mayorkas about the large number of migrants trying to enter the U.S. Andy Court is the producer.

FIRE AND ICE - Bill Whitaker returns to Iceland to report on a volcano that erupted in 2021 and now boasts a new landscape of molten rock and snow. Whitaker explores the discoveries Icelandic scientists have made in forecasting eruptions and could apply to similar volcanoes around the world. Heather Abbott is the producer.
