PRICE GOUGING - A 60 MINUTES investigation looks into how the Pentagon, and taxpayers, get taken advantage of by U.S. defense contractors. Bill Whitaker sits down with former top contract negotiator Shay Assad, who says the accountability system in the Dept of Defense is broken, and major defense companies are flush with excess cash to hand out to shareholders. Sam Hornblower is the producer.
TARGETING SENIORS - Cyber con artists using artificial intelligence, apps and social engineering are targeting parents and grandparents who are being scammed out of what now totals $10 billion dollars a year in America. Sharyn Alfonsi speaks with victims, law enforcement and technology consultants about ways to protect seniors from these widespread cons. Oriana Zill de Granados and Emily Gordon are the producers.
JEFF KOONS - Anderson Cooper profiles Jeff Koons, one of the most prominent and polarizing artists in the world. Known for making sculptures and paintings inspired by everyday objects or famous characters, his works can take decades to make and push the boundaries of technology and sometimes taste. Koons shows Cooper some of his latest work at both a stone workshop in Pennsylvania and his studio in New York, where he gives 60 MINUTES a look at what he hopes will be a permanent art exhibit on the moon. Nichole Marks is the producer.
