THE GREAT ESCAPE - Picking up a book for the first time since their five-year-old daughter was born, Astrid (Meaghan Rath) wants some time to herself as James (Aaron Abrams) struggles to catch up on weeks' worth of laundry. But with Astrid's sister Dawn's (Nazneen Contractor) family on vacation, the vacant house looks like both the escape Astrid needs and the place James can get chores done after a power outage in the midst of a heatwave leaves their own house unbearable. But as the family slowly occupies the pristine house, their mess and chaotic energy is soon to follow. The episode was written by Kathleen Phillips and directed by Melanie Orr (#211).
