With Tess (Dolly Lewis) now back on duty with the Metro PD as a police consultant and Sunny (Agam Darshi) as her under the radar tech partner, a murder hits close to home for Tess and Sunny's first 'on the books' case when one of Matt's (Jarod Joseph) colleagues is found dead in the pool where Tess swims. As they investigate the mystery surrounding the swim coach's death and the dynamics of the Olympic-grade swim team, Tess and Sunny discover they were on opposite ends of the popularity scale in school. Mia (Alice Christina-Corrigan) offers her unexpected skills to the case and a shaken Matt sees a new side of Tess, leading to an unexpected moment between them. Meanwhile, Sunny is desperate for help with a DYI job that's gone awry and lets her concierge Kye (Ennis Esmer) into her apartment which reawakens her past fears (#104).
