FOX's ultimate celebrity social experiment, Special Forces: World's Toughest Test, returns for a third season, enlisting a troop of household names to endure some of the harshest, most grueling challenges from the playbook of the actual Special Forces selection process. This time around, the recruits will be training in Wales, the home of British Special Forces Selection, and will endure the harsh reality of ocean warfare. It's the fourth week of challenges for the recruits where they undergo a search-and-rescue course, crawl along a rope suspended over a canyon to compete in a battle of strength, face a grueling three-stage endurance test in the mountainous terrain, and a brakeman rope challenge in the all-new "Duty / Resilience" episode of Special Forces: World's Toughest Test airing Wednesday, Jan 29 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (from FOX's web site, January 2025) Selection for the Special Forces is a test unlike any other. Celebrities from all genres take on -- and try to survive -- demanding training exercises led by directing staff agents, an elite team of ex-Special Forces operatives. In this unique series, the only way for these recruits to leave is to give up on their own accord, through failure or potential injury, or by force from the agents. Viewers see the recruits face the harshest of environments that simulate the highly classified selection process, pushing themselves in the ultimate test of their physical, mental and emotional resilience and revealing the celebrities' deepest and truest character.
