After finding a dead body in his church, empathetic Canon Daniel Clement (Matthew Lewis, Harry Potter) is pulled into a murder investigation. Clashing with the strict DS Neil Vanloo (Amit Shah, Happy Valley) and his overbearing mother (Amanda Redman, New Tricks), Clement pursues a killer among his congregation. Based on the best-selling novels set in 1980s England by The Reverend Richard Coles.

Episode 2

As the personal threats against him intensify, Clement digs deeper into Anthony's murder, clashing with DS Vanloo, who disagrees with his methods. A new revelation forces Clement to face the fact that the killer lies within his own congregation.
