SisterS, Season 2
Binge | 6 Episodes
SisterS is created by, written and starring real-life best friends Emmy(R) nominee Sarah Goldberg (The Audacity, Barry) and Susan Stanley (Fair City). Season 2 picks up in Dublin, eighteen months after Sare (Goldberg) had abandoned her sister Suze (Stanley), who just discovered she can't have the biological child she has just figured out she wants. Meanwhile in Canada, Sare realizes she is floating in the dreamy haze of denial about who she is but thins she has managed to board the 'perfect life' train, just in the nick of time. When an invite to Sare's wedding lands on Suze's doorstep, Suze travels to Canada in the hope of reconnecting with her sister. Then the sisterly drama ensues. Donal Logue and Sophie Thompson are confirmed to reprise their roles as Jimmy and Sheryl, respectively.

DESCRIPTION: (from Sundance Now's web site, May 2023) In the aftermath of their mother's death, two sisters Sare and Suzie learn to deal with grief, mourning, and the recent discovery of their true father. Sare decides to pack her bags and fly across the pond to Ireland to track down her biological father to get the answers her childhood-self wished for; convincing her sister to go with her.
