"Founders' Day" - As Edgewater celebrates its annual Founders' Day festival, a catastrophic sinkhole opens beneath Main Street, trapping residents underground and forcing Station 42 into a high-stakes rescue. Meanwhile, a mysterious former firefighter arrives in Edgewater, on the fifth season premiere of FIRE COUNTRY, Friday, Oct. 9 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ Premium plan subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*.

DESCRIPTION:
(from CBS's web site, October 2025) Max Thieriot stars as Bode Leone, a young convict seeking a shortened prison sentence by joining a prison release firefighting program in Northern California, where he and other inmates are partnered with elite firefighters to extinguish massive, unpredictable wildfires across the region. Now Bode walks as a free man as he continues his journey toward redemption in his small hometown with Cal Fire. Inspired by Max Thieriot’s experiences growing up in Northern California fire country.
